he was a 8pt main frame with a matching kicker on each side. That is what made me take him. He wasnt the biggest deer but to me he was perfect, everything was exactly even and semetrical....

yeah tanner florida cant seem to get big deer, cuz people tend to kill them when there 2 years old. Texas was nice, seen many and alot of nice ones, some a lil bigger then mine but for some reason i really really liked this one and im glad i harvested the one i did, plus he was 5yrs old according to the teeth....

outlawbro.... I know what you mean man! I just got back from a hunt in kind of south/central/western texas.... rocksprings to be exact... not from junction and del rio. the biggest buck killed on the ranch we were hunting was field dressed weighed in @ 105lbs... the other 2 were in the 70's... and my one doe was 65lbs... the others were in the 40's and 50's

yea i can back from a 4 day hunt in Georgia and we had two 150lb 8pts, 130 buck,120,buck three 100lbs does and a 50-60lb doe we came back with 4 big white coolers full of meat.. and I didnt even see anything big enough to take so i came back without any meat

he was around a 135ish give or take i think we figured nothing huge since his tines didnt ahve too much mass but i knew he wouldnt score big big, but i did know that was the buck i wanted never seen one so semetrical cuz that lil kicker has a twin on the other side same size and everything. I got him with a .270 and it was right outside Sonora

theres not alot of deer in that area that are real massive
great tine length and spread though
the one i shot this year had the mass and spread, but only 10 inch tines
from the wichita falls area

when did you get it?

I went to San Angelo and Killed a couple of does. I shot a big 12 Pt down but didn't get him. Shot him with a 270. But now, I got something to do it right. Bought me a Thompson Pro Hunter in 300 win mag. If I hit him in the foot now, he oughta go down.

same area im hunting
well just a little ways away, i hunt straight west of emporia about 40 minutes around white city
are you bow hunting? i just hung up with my buddy who is there now, he tried to talk me into a bow permit this year but i stuck with a gun, and it sounds like i made the right call, he said they are moving but he cant get anywhere close to em, hes had two deer under 120" in bow range but seen three deer over 160 out of range, but not out of range of my 7mm
