no.

they will ride rougher.

However, they are more puncture resistant.

If you go with a stock size. Then I do not thnk you will lose much performance. O and yes they will also perform better that a stock tire

It all depends on how much air you put in the tires.

Mudzillas are a pretty good trail tire actually with the proper air in them. Over air them and they do not do so well as there is less contact patch with the ground and the lugs are in the air rather then on the ground doing what they are supposed to be doing.

They are a great mud tire also.  I have ridden on mudzillas and Outlaws on my 500 sportsman and the Outlaws are no better then the Mudzillas in the type of stuff I ride in.   And both are better then Vamps.

Go with the recomended airpressure or just below it and you will be happy.    Put more then the recomended airpressure and you will wish you had your stockers on.

Brute750ii, "NO" Mudzillas are NOT a good choise period for 75% hard dirt and 25% mud. Wow, you would not be a happy camper at all. Look at a Zilla, our MST or even an XTR, but not a Mudzilla or an Outlaw type tire. Even tires like 589's or say Mud Bugs are not up to a Zilla, XTR or MST for true smooth riding in an all terrain tire. I can tell you are looking to have a ride very close to stock tires and again Mudzillas are not able to do that. However, just so you know, we are just now starting to see early thread wear on the Zillas because of it's soft rubber and tread design with a lot of road riding. The XTR's last better than standard Mudlites and the MST's also last a long, long time.

your stockers will be better on the trail then mudzillas. like i said in your other post, they hate sand and fallen trees. slick hardpack dirt will be your worst enemy. id go with 27x10 vamps all around.

If you ride a lot of hardpack you might want some 27" Bi/Tri Claws, they ride extremely well, very light and perform well in the mud. My Mud B's ride well on the trail also though as long as you are under 10PSI. The worst difference between the Mud B's and Bi/Tri's is that the Mud B's dig in sand so you have to be in 4wd. But if you are in 4wd they will do better than an Outlaw in the sand (atleast everytime that situation has come up in our soft sugar sand).

I ride 60/30/10 (trail/mud/pavement) with my MZillas and they do just fine. The ride is rough when your goin under 7mph, but get above that, and it smoothes out. Now, Im not sayin its an awesome trail tire, becasue by no means is it an awesome trail tire. But, I was in the same predicament when I was gettin my MZillas. I wanted a tire that performed great in the mud and got me where I wanted to go on the trails, so I went with the MZillas. **SideNote: I got my Mudzillas before the Zillas were on the market. This is for those who are gonna tell me, "Shoulda went with the Zillas!"** Not one time have I been disappointed in my tire choice. The only thing Im mad at myself for, in relation to the tires, is not gettin narrows all around. I got wides on the rear and my 420 floats like crazy!

Brute750ii, thanks for your MST order. As always we appreciate your trust and business. Remember to run very low psi for best performance.

I do that from time to time. No one, not one time, has ever complained or even asked anything about it. Sometimes after a particular sale, I want to say thank you in public for reasons private to the situation. The customers have always been pleased I've done that, for again, reasons only they or me know about. I guess I've done so from time to time for about 8 years or so with zero comments or problems. If I knew any given situation or customer would not want me to, then, you can be assured I would never do so. Thanks for asking, I hope I've cleared it up to your satisfaction. BTW, I never thought you were trying to start a fight, just asking a good question.

It's cool, no probs for me and no offense taken 420RancherInTheMud. I thought it was a legitimate question. As you can see BRUTE750ii feels the same. It's just no big deal for either of us. So don't give it another thought. Have a great weekend !!!!
