I have never done this before and i have idea what im doing but heres a question would mud lite xl's be a good rough trail and an OK mud tire for a rancher 420?

alot of ppl dont like the lites but i had em on my bike when i first got it and i thought they were a prety good tire as far as trail riding goes, ok in the mud but they will dissapoint you if you get off in a hole. i would look into something like the mst's, but if you just every once in a while hit some mud and dont really do alot of muding i would for sure consider the lite. great trail tire as far as im conserned and really lite so you wont have to worry about breaking anything or any loss in power. jmo

check the top of this page for mudlite and mst comparison.........just wish mst's came in a 14" when I bought my lites

I would buy the MSTs over the lites for the extra sidewall bite.

I have 28 lite XL's on my Rubi..  I ride 85% trail 15% mud and they do pretty good as long as it's not the thick stuff that sucks you under like in my avatar pic.  As far as watery type mud they do good.  I've never tried the MST's yet but when the lites are worn out I'd like to try a set..
