A complete motor rebuild usually means new bearings everywhere and some machine work, that doesn't necassarily mean you will need new hard parts. Like the crank, head, cylinder etc... I would not ride it if it has a bent rod, the piston will likely start wearing that cylinder into an oval shape and it will start to lose all compression, oil will be badly contaminated and you could possibly just sieze it all up. Just me man I wouldn't ride it if the motor is that bad
