MY motor has a clunking sound comeing from it anyone know what it could be a guy told me it could be the valves thought i would come here and ask first. and one more question can anyone price a new motor for me for my eiger thx ahead of time

Define CLUNK (when does it do it) valves usualy rattle or have a ping sound and dont be so quick to buy a new motor, rebuild would be alot cheaper and you could throw in a big bore kit without costing any more.

it makes the sound the whole time it runs it sounds like 2 diffrent noises both comeing from the motor a light rattleing sound ( valves ) and the louder clunking sound
