The cheap replacements aren't but about $10 cheaper.  I have found that OEM belts are the best to buy.

Two things I've recently replaced in my 2005 500H.O.

Spal fan #30100597. You will have to use your shroud and blade. The plug and motor are exactly the same as what comes with the bike. $74.96 plus shipping. Only took 10 minutes to swap the blade and shroud over to the new motor. No cutting or splicing any wires.
Spal Phone # 1-800-345-0327

The people at Spal are great. Easy to talk to and soooooooooooo helpful.

Thanks to polaristodd for the help and info.

It was time for me to replace my front and rear diff seals for my axles. I bit the bullet and purchased Polaris ones. I then took them down to my local seal and bearing shop, Miller Bearing. The guy at the counter measured them and found matches for the front and rear axle seals and the front shaft seal. I didn't have a rear shaft seal with me. The seals are Chicago Rawhide and the part #'s are: Rear axle- 19630 @ $7.14, Front axle- 692461 @ $4.53 and Front shaft- 692321 @ $ 4.04. I forgot to ask if they were single, double or triple lip seal. As for the flat lipped o-rings for the front that were in the seal kit from polaris, I was refered to a local hydralic shop. I was told there they could probably match up those, but would have better luck if I were to bring in the case so they could get a more accurate measurement off the groove in the case. I haven't got a chance to place these next to the Polaris seals yet to compare, but I hope to soon. If they are the same, what a savings. I should also mention this is for my 04' SP700.

I got the seals today, matched them up at the counter with the parts guy. They're a match. Only one difference is they are single lip not triple. I ask him straight up "Will this make a difference"? He stated that the specs from Chicago Rawhide say the single one is equal. I asked him why the Polaris ones are triple, and he said he believes it's just an extra dust seal. If I get time next week I'm going to tear into my diffs and replace the seals. I'm going to go with the Chicago ones first to give them a try. If them don't work out I'll still have the Polaris ones in reserve. Cross you fingers we might have another $$$ saver.

Need a starter replacement and avoid that 300$ OEM? I got a starter for my 06 500 EFI with a one year warranty for like 80 bucks shipping and all and it is a 100% match to the OEM one. Apparently this model starter has been used on hundreds of applications. Anyways if you need a starter search for DB Electrical on google and you should find the place no problems or you can call 800-753-2242.. You can also get rebuild kits and all that but just buying the starter was like 15 bucks more.

Anybody know of an exact match to this?  Neither popo dealer around me has this in stock, and that's all I need to get my bike running.
