She is your mom, and she sacrificed more than you will ever know (until you have kids of your own) to raise you and take care of you. How about sacrificing a little time until you move out before you get the tattoo. Just respect her rules while you are living under her roof. I have a few of them and love them. I didn't get my first one until I was 30. My parents didn't freak out nearly as much because I was married, had children, and was a grown adult. They knew I didn't get them on a whim, or ones that I would regret. I waited until I really knew what I wanted and had the blessing of my hubby.

Just respect your mamma's wishes.
