How easy should i take it on my bike with stock axles and 29.5 outlaws?  I also have snorkels, jet kit, HMF and a 2" lift just so you know.

GWC -> RE: stock axles and 29.5's (10/2/2008 4:16:23 PM)

Just be carfull when it gets in a bind because thats when it will bust one.

I would get the axle spacers because with the lift it wants to pop your front axles out and also if you ride easy your quad is gona handle the tires . I do to have stock axles and i ride it easy a no troubles at all .

also dont turn the wheels with the locker on or else your taking a chance of breaking a cup.
i ran my 07 650h1 for 500+ miles with 29.5 laws never broke an axle, its just a matter of knowing when to pull the winch cable out.

Have you heard of the Brownstown mudfest? www.midillinoismudfest.com   I met 700Blaze over there in september. Its a pretty good time. They have another event May 3. I'll be there, you should think about that.

I'm as easy on the throttle as I think anyone gets, yet I've shatered 2 rears in almost back to back weekends. It wasnt from the mud riding it was traveling from point A to B to other mud holes LOL. Do like GWC says, and DO NOT get it in a bind. I will say that the two I broke, were the last remaining stock 03 axles (which explains alot!) I had left. Ive since replaced them with 06+ axle shafts with 03 ouboard joints and 06+ inboard joints.
I do have G O RI LL A'S coming though for the rear.

Also, i've came out of some nasty, off camber, thick, muddy ruts with the locker on, and never busted a joint thus far. Only shattered rear axels from being wedged, and being to wide. Gave it a little throttle and SNAP! lol I believe the axels I have now are MUCH sronger than the 03's. They are the silver colored shafts, and much bigger round.
