ok, i've been reading on the CDI boxs, and after the christfest event, there were some guys talking about putting the CDI boxs on their brutes and how much it helped the low end.  i've been "googling" every word combo i can think of an all it comes up with is this brand

dynatek doesn't make one for the vinson, or at least they don't have it listed.

does any one have one?  gains, comments, pro's/con's, is it worth $90, or is it better left alone?

just thought i'd throw it our there to see what experiences ya'll have had, so i can add it to my list or keep it off the list, lol!

Ok I have been searching and reading reviews about CDI boxes but like TeamMud said the only brand is the Procom for the Vinson. And the procom had pretty bad reviews. Most of the people that bought them said they were a waste of money and did not do anything for there bike. Dynatek is the top but they abviously don't make one for the Vinson or it would be a no brainer. I have not experimented with the Procom personally but from seeing the reviews I don't care to.

i see some of the reviews as well.  went to searching some more, and didn't come up with alot of good stuff to say about them.

i'll have to decline the nomination, on this one lol! 

hopefully i'll get back on the AC front diff project now [;)]

google search for  rage performance they sell a cdi for the vinson. everyone i talked to that tied the procom cdi said there bikewouldnt even run with it plugged up.

The only one I ever found is a CDI unit from royal distributing here in canada.  The brand is UMI.  I am too chicken to purchase and install it though until I hear some kind of reviews on the unit.

i just looked around and it said the umi is as good as the procom. havent found anything on the rage performance tho
