Just wondering which i should get for my brute750. I want to stay with 27inch and i do about half mud and half hard pack trail. The mud we ride in is very gummy where your tires look like slicks very fast. I got mudlights right now but need somthing a bit better so i'm thinking of ether executioners or vampires both have a cheap price tag just need to decide which one to buy.

the kendas are great tires but the vampires will outperform them in all conditions and clean out better also

It truly depends on if the mud you ride in has a bottom... If it DOES have a bottom, I would suggest Vamps... if it does NOT have a bottom, I would suggest the Executioners.... Vamps dig to the bottom and then crawl across it... if there is no bottom, you will bottom out... plain and simple....

In your type of mud I'd go FOR SURE with Vampires. They wil ride better, and clean better in sticky mud conditions.

And if you need 27" tires buy the 28x10 EDL's for the front and 27x12's for the rear!

I have to completely dissagree with this.  "Sinking" and "digging" have almost everything to do with tire width and weight dispersement and almost nothing to do with tread design, imo.  A 8 inch tire that weights 40 pounds, will sink/dig more than a 12 inch wide tire that weights 30 pounds, regardless of tread.

If it's mud, the vampire will outperform the executioners.

Gotta go with J_Fred on this one. He hit the nail on the head. Both tires measure short. With the vamps, the wide ones measure dead on, the narrow (not 12 inch wide) measure just over an inch short. On the brute, run the EDL's front and 27x12 rear, or do the 27x12 all around. I vote vamps, much better tire overall.

i have 27x12x12 on all 4 and love them...does turn a little harder, but worth it.

Nice Cat![sm=biggthumpup.gif] I gotta say Vamps too they are a pure mud tire, and the Execs are more of a trail/mud tire.

I current ride on Execs and will soon be switching to Vamps...'nuff said.
