So tomorrow is my old high school's homecoming football game. I graduated 2 years ago but never got to do a senior prank (was injured most of my senior year)  so a bunch of my buddies are thinking about setting the old burn pit on fire. Its this huge pile of wood that hasn't been burned in 10+ years and its right behind the visitors bleachers. Me and some of my buddies were thinking about setting it on fire about the last 20 minutes of the game. there's a bamboo forest that hide the old rail road tracks behind the football field. we were gonna sneak up the track and then thru the forest. spray paint 2007 around the pile then set it on fire and exit the same way we got in. I don't think theres anyway that we could get caught.  but somehow if we did what could we get charged with?

IN GEORGIA THEY CALL THAT ARSON AND IT CANT GET YA ABOUT 10 YEARS,AND TRUST ME I AM A FIREMAN,NOT TO MENTION YOU WOULD BE RISKING OTHERS LIVES FOR A STUPID PRANK, AND WE COULD BE SAVING A LIFE INSTEAD OF HAVING TO RESPOND TO THAT AND YOU COULD ALSO BE CHARGED FOR ANY FUEL AND INJURIES THAT COULD OCCUR WHILE RESPONDING TO THE CALL I DONT RECOMMEND IT

Someone at a highschool somewhere took their manure spreader in and covered the parking lot and sidewalks with manure.  I don't know who though.

It wasn't much of a prank, but we had a parade of wheelers, cars, and one guy brought a horse going to school on the main road our last day.  We had about a mile long of traffic behind us, but everyone loved it!

Yea you got to think if you would have done a prank when you were in high school they would probable arrest you to scare the crap out of you and drop the charges but now since being out of high school makes you an "adult"  they wouldnt think twice about arson   and its just to risky

My highschool prank was pouring diesel fuel, on our rivals football field, in the name of our highschool, and hanging an one of their old uniform's, buddies brother's, from the goal post.

Restitution was 3,000$ split 4 ways, 2,000 hrs community service.  The judge thought the diesel fuel was funny, but said the hanging of the uniform was a communication of threats, and assualt (on the entire football team).
BTW, we were caught when the fifth member of our troop decided he would tell on us, because when he got drunk later that night we left him in a ditch in front of his grandma's house... NAKED!

Stupid, stupid, stupid, you will most likely get in some serious trouble.  Back when I was in high school, myself and a couple buddies spent a very long time coming up with a prank that would be hilarious, extremely hard to trace, and yet cause no damage were we to get caught.  End result, 5000 crickets infiltrated  the teacher's lounge and cafeteria, (which quickly spread upstairs), and the girls locker room, (which engulfed the gym) over night.  After almost three weeks of investigation and interrogation by the school and sheriff's office, (I'm not kidding), everyone knew who did it but the people that mattered.  It was a blast, nothing was damaged, no one was hurt, and we didn't cost anyone a pile of money.  We actually had newly installed security cameras to dodge, although someone may or may not have known their locations, the cycles of the revolving cameras, and when the tape overwrites itself.

Bottom line, high school's over and you shouldn't even consider jeopardizing your future over something this stupid.  If you just feel it absolutely necessary to relive your high school days, pick something that won't land you in jail and put others in harm's way.

Nice move gotmuddy on the Dazed and Confused reference.  Matthew Mcconaughey's character is the first thing that came to mind when I read the original post.

A good one back in the 70's was to use a push dry fertilizer drop spreader filled with rock salt and put your schools name across the rivals schools football field.

Now days I would just use enough real fert so you dont kill the grass so it wont cost you a fortune in sod replacement it will just make the letters a darker green.

Man your prolly in your early 20's or so, dont risk going to jail and missing out on a lot in your life you could be doing cause you deff. will get caught.....theres always someone watching and it might even be a kid but they will tell certainly if your really close to the bleachers. I never did a senior prank in high school and you dont see me wanting to go back and try one after being out of HS for 3 years. GROW UP LET IT GO......................I have an idea how bout you tell a senior to do a prank and then you wont get in trouble cause you had nothing to do with it DENY DENY DENY lol dont waste your time with that HS BS

You haven't experienced hilarity until you've witnessed a group of teachers get in an elevator and then heard the screams from the next floor as they are mauled by crickets and have no immediate way out.  Better yet is watching administrators trying to stomp and spray them with Raid one at a time when they are covering the floor of a 200'x75' cafeteria.  Ah, memories that will last a life time.
