it's probably like LA, low riders have to have 4" of clearance at the body, and lifted trucks can't have over 54" at the headlights........
1) for the lowered guys it doesn't say WHAT part of the body, lifted guys it doesn't say WHAT part of the head light.
2) my cousin has a lowered s10 got a ticket for height.........probably due to his mouth!!
3) i have a lifted super duty 9" + 40" tires, i have 54" at the center of my head light (that is where a local shop said they are sposed to measure at for state inspections.

you know how many super duties there are that are taller than me...........well about a handfull, lol, but still they are higher, and never had any issues.......and there are plenty of low rider guys that have never had a ticket, my cousin just got mouthy and the state trooper got picky, that was his own fault!
