So basically you can adjust the size of the PVC to change the stall as desired? Say put a 1" x 1.5" to get less stall if wanted. Could this not also be done with the secondary springs as well without them binding up say to get to the same spring rate and almond would give? I really like this mod and the more I think about it the more I like it!

Spring doesn't end up coil binding?

Try a polaris orange spring if you want some stall... dudes pretty stiff.

Words from the wise...

PVC spacers work great to increase stall, enjoy

Don't forget with more stall equals more stress on the axles when it engages. Espically in a thicker pit. (if we ever have another one.)

You know just like I do the way us "Ol school" boys setup our bikes the clutch never dis-engages from start to finish! Atleast mine dont! Thats why proper setup is cruical! Getting a bike weighted right has alot to do with that!  If a bike is setup right it planes out with the front tires about 1/3 in the water @ 3/4 throttle or if its setup perfect almost wide open throttle! Therefore axles shouldnt be a problem! I raced 2 seasons on a Brute with 440lbs of rotating weight and never broke and axle or burnt a belt with this mod running 1x1.5 inch pipe and Dalton weights! 1.5x1.5 works good with the stock clutch setup!

Is it trail ridable like this or would it be too much stall?

I was just trying to warn them about the dis-engaging part. With all that stall and the extra grip in the pit you don't want to let your wheels stop turning or you will more than likely break something.

I have seen a couple of brutes that have that 2 up look/frame..  They seem to do well if they can ever stop breaking things and get past that 10 ft mark..

You can also create your own custom stall by putting the bike in neutral and revving it up and dropping it in gear about 6k RPM.  I've heard of a couple of guys that have used this method...
