I have a buggy made out of a 300 arctic cat 4x4 and was thinking about doing a custom 6" to 10" lift. We have all of the items to fab (we have a fab shop and also have the use of a machine shop) one but I dont know if the cvs can take it. Has any one made slip shafts for the axles b/c I would like to have some so I could have 8"+ of travel. If you have any opinions, pics, links, or ideas post them. I know there are a lot of threads out there on custom lifts but they are hard to find. I am looking to have less then 400$ in it when done, so I will have to make everything myself. I didnt know if it could be done with u-joints? I will post pic as i do it.

Nice job!

Why not just put taller tires on it?

You should have low enough gears for them.

It has 26" tires on it now. I wont it to have more travel then 3" like it has now. I also use is as a mini rockcrawler so I need more GC. It would also be cool as ****
