no offence man, but DAM $60 at the gate, it would cost me and the old lady $120 for a WEEKEND (2days), in freakin gate fee's...........we got into MUD NATS for less than $80 for 4 freakin days, and one of the largest ATV events in the nation........not to mention MUD FEST was 4 days and a $40 four day pass, and a concert every night...........

Yeah, not to mention you gotta keep the gas stations in business too. Oh well I guess I'll just have to "inflate my tires and get a tune-up".

no kidding, i can handle some travel to go mud riding, we have family in west monroe any way so we could kill to birds with one stone, but $120 in the gate, and lets say 1/2 a tank of gas (15 gal).  thats another $60-70bux...........and we are in the same state.

i'll keep my vacation days for MUD STOCK in jacksonville TX........9th - 12th..........rumor has it, it's a mini-mud natinals.

i'll support the local LA mud rides every chance i can, with in reason...............

guys, I know the price seems high but its a great place to ride. Plus you get a concert too. You have to experience it just once. I was just there last weekend and will be there again for the October ride!! I am in Vicksburg and its only 45 mins to get there!!

Maybe if more people show the price can come down eventually. At Copiah creek one person is only $15 to ride all day. But its not near as big. Its also an hour and 15 mins for me to get there.

Here in Vicksburg there is at least 20 of us who ride reguarly. Plus I know 10 people from Jackson that ride(Big Nutz ATV).

Honestly, originally this was just a concert weekend with Bucky Covington on Friday, and Corey Smith on Saturday...the concerts alone are worth $50...then we added the mud riding, then the Safari Park, and the Screamin' Safari (plus camping)...pretty good deal for $50!

mud fest in colfax had concerts for $45, sammy kershaw, and avery michaels were the top 2, not to mention the 2 local bands that showed up to play....

sorry man i'm not convinced that a 2 day weekend with one concert is worth $50 ($60 at the gate), whatn larger events are less and for more days.

when it gets going good for ya and you decide to drop the price to $20 or $25 bux for a weekend (like willow eddies) our group of 12-15 bikes will show up............

All my friends went last weekend.  They said they had just as good of time at Rooters as they did at Mud Nats.  I'm willing to atleast try this place out.

Thanks for the feedback, but I think most or all riders that were in attendance for Mudjam will say we have a bit more than most places! Also, we have 2 concerts (not 1) for $50...plus all the riding you can handle, plus an on site bar with liquor store, plus admission to the Safari Park & Screamin Safari...

I can't go.  But, I probably would if I could.  And I agree, I don't care about the concerts or the bar for that matter.  All I want is a place to hook up my camper and a mud hole to hit!  I went last time and had a blast.  Well, on second thought, I'd probably go to that place in Forest if I had a chance.  Cheaper, and like I said, I don't care about a concert, I don't care whose playin, wouldn't want to go...  And for the bar, I could do without it too...

I think the thing here is your on a atv forum where everyone is lookin for nice places to ride and can care less about a concert. The most of that fee is for the concert and that is not why these guys are there. We were there and I will say we had a blast. Ted I am not sayin that you don't have a nice place, I have been alot of places to ride but this price is steep for a all round 4-wheeler rider.

Yep I Agree. Not to mention that its scheduled on the same weekend as Mudstock in Jacksonville, Tx. Eventually I'm gonna make it out to roosters for a weekend but not for 60 bones at the gate.

When I first heard the price I thought it was a little steep but look at it this way.  Most places that I've been to is 20 dollars a day to ride.  You can ride Friday afternoon, (night) Saturday (day and night) and Sunday.  At Colfax and the little park in Calhoun (300 acres), I paid 20 dollars a day.  It's a great place to ride.  I hope they grade the trails before the next ride and get rid of some of the existin' ruts.

If I read the website correct you pay $30 for Friday $30 for Sat. didn't see Sun. I don't know if this is just for the concert. If they have 1 day passes for bikes I may end up going for one day my little boy would like the Safari park if I can get him off the wheeler. lol Colfax is $20 a day with a 3 day pass being $45 benefit to buying 3 day pass. By the way this place is going again Oct. 31, Nov.1, Nov.2.

ok $30 early ($40 at the gate), that doesn't match up with what is just posted above.  now is it goin to be like MUD JAM, $5 per person as well.......so now i could add $10 for me and my wife

if prices are correct listed above.........$50 pre pay ($60 at the gate) + $10($5 per person)..............now we're up to $60 or $70 for a 2 day event.

This is my experience with the place.  The mud was good and the holes too as well as the staff.  The riding land did not impress me as far as coverage of land.  Maybe that was because they were trying to keep some trails clean.  I think it is ridiculous to pay 50 or 60 plus for the rider.  Just to let you know the last ride was a pay by night type thing and when we came back that night the guy at the gate did not care if we had prepaid or not.  He told us just to come on in.  As for the night ride, we rode Sat night and there were not that many people there riding.  The amount of cars there compared to that day had decreased considerably.  I was not that impressed to go back and spend that kind of money, concert or not.  I am just giving my opinion... I need to take into consideration the winds from Gustav but was not impressed.  Mud nats is great and would go there anytime and not worry to much about the amount of money being spent.

The place is nice but not nice enough for me to pay 60 bucks to ride one day.  I could care less about the concert, the bar, and the safari.  I dont go to a 4-wheeler ride for those things.  WHen we pulled into the park last weekend I was disapointed also, I thought there would be thousands of people there like advertised, and with the prices going up I can guarantee that your attendance there Ted will get smaller.  Ted you have a good thing going here dont screw it up by throwing B S concerts and safari crap in with a 4-wheeler ride. seems like alot of the reviews are along the same lines.............seems like a get rich quick deal to me instead of a park for the riders.

Well, we've allready got our rooms in Delhi. As much fun as it is to stay on site, having someone else clean the muddy towels is much better. As for price, it is a little steep, but my other option is to stay home and let the 13,000 UTV sit in the shop...

I do hope they open up more trails and I hope there's still as much water this time (doubtful). I'll also try to keep all my tires on the wheels!!!

Is anyone else from Central Louisiana going? If so, drop me a PM and we can get togther up there.
