Only about 40 acres, but if you're close by it could be fun.

contentsunderpressur -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/16/2008 2:04:03 PM)

I'm only about 30 miles from there.  No beer and must have a helmet, hmmm.[:-]

neverrideahonda -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/16/2008 3:35:19 PM)

Someone needs to take a skimmer bike and get that 1000.00

kidsoncoffee -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/16/2008 5:25:49 PM)

I'll be bringing the bear...........and claiming that $1000.  So you other guys shouldn't even bother showing up.  It's all me.   [:D]

800sporty -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 5:35:49 AM)

Man I know these guys but want to make it clear that I am not speaking on thier behalf, but you all might be surprised about the rules when you get there. I am sure the insurance company mandated some of the wording of the rules. I also believe it says no beer while riding. Every park I ride says no alcohol and only 1 park that I know of enforces it. Just go check it out!!!!!!!

contentsunderpressur -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 7:16:20 AM)

Yea I kinda figured that to.  I'm going to call and ask.

85bigred -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 8:58:59 AM)

Too bad they wont let me come. I cant go muddin without my Big Red. And they said no threewheelers. What a waste of time..

800sporty -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 11:43:28 AM)

They had to take the bog pit challenge page off thier site because of insurance reasons but it is still on. Anny questions just contact Danny through the site.

What?  That don't make any since to me.  Can't believe they won't allow any three wheelers.

flfirepig911 -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 12:21:18 PM)

Our insurance at SRATV is the same way.

kidsoncoffee -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 5:37:14 PM)

It's because they are even more dangerous than quads.  I know.  I grew up on them.  And had a shifter go through my leg.  They're still fun as heck though. [:D]

contentsunderpressur -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 6:34:35 PM)

They are not opening till Saturday now.

kidsoncoffee -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 6:42:39 PM)

Not hurtin' my feelings.  I can't go till Sunday anyways.  That's just one less day that somebody can claim that $1000 before me. [:D]

Silverback -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 6:45:32 PM)

I would come and take that $1000 but it would cost me atleast that in gas to get there lol

If someone skimmed this pit.........

they would probably end up in the hospital or funeral home.

joshua99ta -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/17/2008 6:49:16 PM)

If I didnt have to go to work I'de go and show them ole hands exactly whats up!!!!!!

kidsoncoffee -> RE: $1000 bog pit challenge (9/21/2008 8:46:58 PM)

Just got back from there.  Me and my buddies tried to get across the pit.  It's freakin NASTY thick.  Took us over an hour to get a path half way across the pit.  We'll be going back next weekend to make it ALL the way across.  They dug the pit flat, then while the owner was gone, his operator threw most of the clay back in the pit.  So it's pretty thick.  You just gotta tromp a trail through it.  Overall it was a fun park with some good people.  The owner and employees are good folks.  Ya'll should come check it out next weekend.  The bigger the head count, the more I'd think that they would want to expand the park.  So come on out.
