Looks to me like the guy on the can am smoked the popo off the line and hit a bad set of ruts. Thats just a real good example of a real uneven pit to be honest.

The pit was terribly uneven ( built that way) Rocky and clay with deep holes. Good or bad? I don't know. Tiring absufrickenlutly. There was almost no difference performance wise in brand or mods with that pit, There was a fair bit of luck involved. I just wanted to post the new 850 getting dirty. The king(Unlimited) class were the only ones that could walk their bikes down the middle of this beast of a pit without to much struggle 6" lifts or better and 31 outlaws or 32 $ilverbacks and engine work. I'll post a vid but it's kinda dark this event went well into the night.....lol

They were dead even and the 850 looked like it lost traction. I'm sure with a real race, we will see which is faster. This is the first vid I have seen, thanks to ostacruiser. Too bad the pit ruined it. I doubt the CanAm was stock, but it also has bigger tires, right? What was on the Popo?

Do they make a 26 inch zilla in a 14 inch wheel???? The 850 XP has to run 14's to clear the breaks. You might want to look into that. I am pretty sure they are 28's.

Looks like the guy on the Can Am doesn't know how to ride in a mud bog.  The Polaris was impressive, but should have been much closer than that.

Thanks for the research. Those tires do look a bit small. I can not beleave they took a brand new, not snorkeled, only running 26's, into a mud bog pit haha. They sure do have some serious faith in the new XP.

That is very impressive to see that heavy ace bike with that small of tires get out there and tear it up like that, Could you imagin if he would have had a lift and 29.5s...

.....along with clutching, exhaust, programmer, etc. I think we are looking at one sick bike combining outty comfort and handling with TCat power and adding EPS on top. Man, I see the potential in this thing already.... This bike could be #1 for best all around package and it's gonna beat both bikes in price as well. Go Polaris. My hat is tilted off to ya.

A fact about this race LOL. The guy riding the Can-Am just bought his machine the night before the race and had never even driven an atv before. And the pit was evil LOL. It didn't matter how much money U had into yer machine, if U couldn't ride or picked a bad line, U were done. Also our first event here. We will do a two day event next year, run lights to go all night and better set-up the pit. Ostacruiser, where's the vid of the 850 racing the stock Can-Am 800 with stock tires???? Poor old 850 got whooped on in that race bad. Just goes to prove that it worked how I wanted it to, it was a drivers race.
