Agreed!  So, the stroke alone is getting it to 1000cc?  Guess I'll have to make this one a 1040 just to be different!!

You'll hafta go bigger than that, as the 1004cc motor, is standard at 4" bore, and can be taken out to 4.125", which makes it a 1068cc motor.

As a side note, the MRRPM 1004 Big Bore, WON the modified class at the Can Am mud jam, with Bruce Cline piloting his 2007 Can Am Renegade to victory! Congrats to Bruce on his latest victory!!

MRRPM is a freakin Genius, this motor is like no other, more power than you need, but it's nice to have, Thanks for my biggest win in my limited Mud Racing experience, and none the less, my first oval bog.

As for reliability, this motor has several engine and chassis dyno pulls, more than 40 practice pit runs, at least 2 hours of ride/run time out of the water, and not the first motor problem.

Also Thanks to Mudders Mag, Can-Am, and Carolina Adventure World for putting this awsome event on for us. But most of all Thanks again MRRPM. Bruce Cline

There were a few videotaping, and as soon as I get one, I'll post it, or a link to it, if it's already posted.

A DVD has been burned, should have it soon. Again, the the motor performed flawlessly. I missed the set-up on the bike quite a bit and the extra HP made up for it. This combonation will dominate any place it is ran. Way to go MRRPM. See, I still can't take the smile off of my face.

would it be possible to run this 1000 kit (no turbo) , with just a pipe, intake, and programmer? just like the other BBK?

Sure! We are running a 2007 Renegade just like that, right now. Makes 70hp to the tire, on pump gas. It has won every mud race it has been entered in so far.

I've got some that came in a couple of days ago for the big pins and 11.5 to 1 compression. I've got more coming that'll be 14 to 1 and for the stock pins.

That was the only race of the day that I had to really push hard. I missed the set-up for the last run. The pit was getting dug up pretty bed and the longer 900r max was handling good in the deep water. I will try to get someone to post the entire days runs so you can see what it does.

Not trying to take anything away from the Renegade, but did anyone else notice that the Brute Force was in 2wd?

The Kawi was in 2wd, it had a problem with the engine brake or something I didn't fully understand. That Kawi just had extensive engine work and was spraying nitrous, so  I assume something was reassembled incorrectly. I was really hoping to see what it would do. Again, I still don't know how much power the 1004 has. I have not been able to open it up an entire run because of the short wheel base, and both pits I've been in had really deep water. I will get back to you after I have rectified the short wheel base for next year.  I guess you might be able to call it stretch next year. By th way, for those that don't know, MRRPM is pretty sharp in that area as well, in any area for that matter.

In that video at CAW...

Ok.....that was MY Brute.......It was in 2wd with a broke rear axle.  I was NOT spraying any NOS due to the fact that I was in 2wd.  I did have "some" engine work done and that was the first run on the new motor.  Still have some break in work needed.  The Renegade is a very strong bike and I give MRRPM credit for building a great motor.  However........I think it is a lot of motor for the bike to handle.  But everyone to their own.....

Great racing this weekend Bruce!!
