ORIGINAL: 007BF That motor is more than just a stock motor with 200 more cc's, thats apples to watermelons . That prototype has head work, aggressive cams, 09 intake, higher compression, larger throttle body, and free flowing header/exhaust. It'll take a little work to push that power out of just bolting those jugs and pistons up! But its a d*** good start!!!!! Yes, it's had some work, but the important thing to remember is this setup is a bolt together deal. The cams, valves, and after I get to selling the jugs, are shelf parts that people can buy and tune and should arrive where I'm at. It'll make more power with a bigger intake, and more compression, but I'm trying to make power at as good as a price as I can. Custom intakes are expensive, and the compression can be raised, but either one costs more money. I haven't tried it, but this motor should run on 93 octane pump gas, as the stockers are 10.3 to 1 and run on 87. This one is only 11.5 to 1, which isn't that much more. I'll almost guarantee it'll make 125 or 130 with an intake and compression. How long the rods will last is another question. More power is harder on rods and the same for compression. RPM's will help power if the torque can be maintained, but I'm trying to keep it under the stock computer's rev limit, so you guys can use the stock computer and be easier to get into, and tune. I ain't done yet, I'm gonna give this thing some thought over the weekend, and try some things on monday. I'm ultimately gonna put my handmade turbo intake on, and more compression and turn it more to see what that does. It won't do anyone but me any good, but it' ll show the potential of this setup, should anyone want to go where I've been. Oh yeah, for those that haven't seen it, here's a link to a video of a dyno pull I put on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H17NupjHgk
