It prolly won't, worst it can do is blow up. But it has been running 28lbs on gas, with 10 to 1 for a good while now. Alcohol is actually easier on parts than gas at high boost levels, because it is harder to detonate, not impossible, just harder.

Detonation aside, what about the rest of the motor?  Do you think stock internals and the rest of the drivetrain will hold up to that?  I tried to keep up on the thread, but maybe I missed the part about other upgrades...

The clutch is upgraded, but the rest of the driveline, is stock, and will stay that way until it breaks. The motor will have stock rods, crank, and cases. Like I said before, the worst it can do is blow up, and there ain't but one way to know if it'll take it or not. The stock bottom end will take it, the real question is for how long. Are you asking if the internals will hold up to a million miles, or one mile? My guess would be somewhere in between!

I'd say that's a solid bet.

I don't know, but I might find out when I get it on the dyno. I have an '09 intake to try, without a turbo, and I would need a pipe of some kind, I'll prolly just make up some kind of pipe to put on for the dyno, so I can have some numbers to state if I were to go to production.

I would bet the 1000 Kits would sell.  Well depends if you have to but a stand alone ECM.  Most wont want to.  But if it runs on a fairly stock ste up by this I mean a PC3 pipe and filter it would sell.

I could ber wrong but i believe the limit for both associations for the open class is 990 cc'c.  So you wouldnt be able to run this set up unless they change the rules or you say its an 800 and sneak it by.

If the rule is 990, then I'd just put in a smaller bore, not much, just enuf to get by the rule. Then it could be bored out, should the rules change.

It'll run on the stock computer, just need to dyno it and get a tuneup.

It prolly can be done, but it gets pretty thin around where the water comes thru from the block.

The jugs are done, just waitin' on pistons, which are shipped, and should be here on wed. I'll post more pics as it goes together, and engine dyno results when I'm done. I'm gettin' ready to dyno today or tommorrow, a 2mm over 800 (825cc) with 2mm over valves, RW cams, custom intake, on methanol, with a turbo. Will post pics and vids when I'm done.

Wow, that is really nice work. My hat's off to you man.

Looking at that really big bore kit reminds me at my ole days at the drag strip racing my 13b Turbo RX-7. Running on alcohol, the turbo with more than 35 pounds of boost and enough nitrous to euthanize a small city lol.

And for those who doubt his extimate of 250HP, I have seen cars with 2.0L engines, HEAVILY modified and they can pull almost 1000HP
