Status: online 		I'm doing mine, and I don't know anyone else that does it. As far as cost, I ain't really figured it, because it's for myself, but I have the equipment to mass produce these if the need arose. Let me get mine runnin' first, and some of the bugs worked out, before I start thinking about making a kit to do this.

i don't believe mrrpm is using software to go from a 3D model to the CNC machine.  right now i don't use any software to convert 3D models to G code, but i am learning CAM software which will do that.  i do it the old fashioned way with a calculator, paper, pen, etc and input right on my machines.  give me a print and i can program anything

No, I haven't heard of that one, I'm using a program called Teksoft, works ok, but I don't use it much. This particular part was made from just regular 2D drawings, and cammed out in 2D. Something like this is simple enuf to do like this. I am making an intake that I drew the port to intake adapter in Solidworks, and cammed out in a CAM system called Procam. I'm gonna post some pics when I get a chance, prolly in a day or 2.

Here is a pic of the jugs after the water jackets were put in. We gotta press in the liners next, prolly tomorrow.

Status: online 		I'm prolly gonna run this on methanol, so it needs to be 12 to 1 or so, maybe a little less, depending on boost. It should be reliable, if we can keep the water in. Gonna air test the jugs today and see if they hold, if they do, we'll be boring them, when the pistons get here.

I have access to some bootleg copies also, just afraid to get caught, as we have software people in here all the time.

If you have a legal copy, you can't legally sell it, as you buy a license to use the software, not the software itself. Used cad/cam software is worthless, used.
