Update here guys.  Well....we went and test drove a bunch of machines.  And then....we test drove a Yamaha Rhino.  Absolutely no comparison in overall ride comfort to any atv out there.  These side-by-sides, are unbelievably comfortable to ride in!  On top of that, they have the bucket out back to haul stuff around and can ride 2 very comfortably.  I can't say enough good about these things.

We did get the 450 rather than the 700FI, which I'm sure will be unpopular around here.  But we got a very nice deal.  It is a very capable little machine.  Good on gas and with the low range, can tug anything nicely.

BTW, of all the ATV's I rode, I think its a toss up between the Grizzly and the Polaris for the most comfort.

And they do offer aftermarket power steering for the Rhino. power steering and the good ride, great combination.

I would say go with the kingquad 450.  it rides smoother than a Grizz, but not quite as plush as the popo, and not quite as top heavy as the rest.

If someone has a bad back and complains about rough riding atv's it will fall on deaf ears here. That's like complaining about having shin splints but you keep jogging....just doesn't make much sense.

We've got an '07 500 popo and it is hands down the most comfortable ride.

The Rinny has a cool ride the three speed tranny is cool and it is quiet. Not much in mud but a cool trail bike.
