ORIGINAL: jturkey69 did you do anything to protect the exhaust from melting the pvc for the cvt outlet?...also since I plan on doing this to my dads 400 max, is there anyway the snorks could come up close to the handle bars? he wants to run his front cargo box, so rack space is needed. did you re-jet? or are you running a reducer for the intake? sorry for the many questions, just looking out for the ol man...he doesnt ride deep, but when he does see water/ or mud, he likes to fly through, so Im just trying to protect his machine from him...lol - First off no I did not wrap anything around the PVC by the exhaust. It will be fine.
- You are talking about major thinking and remounting to get the snorkels any closer. The way the frame is also I would think you would have to cut it. Basically what I am saying it is impossible to run the snorkels the way we did and get them any closer.
- Rejetting is not always needed, but mine is running rich. So I will be ordering a jet kit.
Any more questions let me know. Thanks Kyle
