Try to find you some 700 Praire cylinders.  That way you can punch them out to 84mm.  Then you can sleeve them and go to 85, 87 and even 90 I think.  Mine are 84 now.  I'm waiting on the smoke, so i can sleeve to 85.  I already have the pistons, and the sleeves are a phone call away.

thanks for the props there fella's...dreggsta, i wasnt talking any crap to lips. He mentioned that he pulled 5 lengths on a renegade while on his outty and I called BS. And then got beat by a t-cat. Can-am guys know that there isnt much difference in the gades and outtys other then clutch weights and a few pounds worth of racks so 5 lengths is a stretch. I'm merely offering up mine as a "variable". Not hating on him by no means.. BUT i wouldnt come into another oems thread and tell em that im racing their manufacturers flagship bike with my oems flagship bike. I'd rather go screw with the wasp nest on my back porch.
Plus, I know how fast a t-cat is.....no sence in having the cat nation remind me

mudracer, amr cams are the way to go when it comes to kawi motors.. jmo

If my current cylinders arent in bad shape, I'm going to run them seeing how they were freshly bored to 82mm that will leave me at a 698cc. The reason I'm going that is becuase I do plan on geting 700 cylinders and if I can find some that are stock bore and in good condition then when I wear out my 650 cylinders I can just swap over to the 700's without buying pistons agian. Then after I wear the 700 cylinders out I will bore them to 84 and get new pistons.

I like to go up a step at a time....

Thats what I've been reading, I just need pistons with deep enough valve pockets to run them now

no worries junyah. i wasn't rying to single you out. i think i got mis-interpreted. i was just messing w/ya as a lot of ham guys always gotta race. i wasn't trying to attack you at all. i was just joking. that's why i put a  at the end. besides, i know you are very helpful b/c you've helped me out here & over at the ape forums. so a joke was a joke & nothing more, even if you ride a ham

I don't think the 5 lengths is credible.  He didn't list any variables such as the surface they raced on, psi in tires, etc. which makes a HUGE difference at the finish line!

I've got a 650 max that I'll put stock tires and change out the clutching and we'll see if he can't count the lenghts from behind!  And I'll bring the camera! LOL!

Besides, most of us know that very few of the AC guys look to their bikes for racing.  Maybe a few T-Cat guys but thats still limited.

I love the AC forum!!  Always something interesting going on!!
