Local store is out of gas here.  Diesel still available, good thing I drive a diesel and have a diesel generator.  Bad thing of it is citgo gas refinery is 15 miles down the road.

They are claiming Lake Charles as the point of impact which means that is where you should go. No chance of them picking the right spot 5 days out. Safest place in America will be Lake Charles next week. Prob sunny and no wind.

I might as well stay home then.  My boss called about an hour ago and told me to be in Livonia(by Baton Rouge)tuesday morning to go clear the tracks to get trains running.  I may be heading right for it.

Weather man here just said it could be a cat 4 by sunday at 7 and the path looks like lake charles area.  Then tuesday and wednesday here we could have 25 to 75mph in winds and we are 3 plus hours from the coast!!

Headed to Red Creek Offroad Park from Shreveport, LA just passed Brookhaven, MS. We stopped in Jackson, MS to fill up diesel and they were out of regular gas. We are traveling 84S of course not much traffic headed south, the traffic heading northbound looks pretty steady seeing alot of campers. We are heading home tonight hope the northbound traffic keeps flowing like it is now.

hmm thats odd...

Byram and Terry, both about 10-20 mins south of Jackson have gas.  filled up yesterday and its been at $3.59 at every station, except Kroger who ran out.

I plan to keep my truck topped off and have a few full gas cans on hand.
my 4wheeler is on empty and I better fill it up just incase I need to pull trees or something.

if it happens to stay on the track shown above it will hit the La. coast at Caillou Bay which is southern tip of Terrebonne Parish.Directly north of that is Morgan City. from there if it moves northwest it will travel across the Atchafalaya Bay along the coast to Vermillion Bay and come further inland from there
