Debo,
Who did your backrest?  Is it holding up well?  Looks good in the picture.  My hubby needs a new one.  His first seat held up well, but he sold it and his new flame seat is ripping.  LOVE the Monster in the snorks!

i like GWC's setup!  Here's my original snorkel setup on my 700.  I've wanted to build one similar for a brute, just haven't wanted to deal with the wiring headache.  I'm majorly OCD when it comes to wiring, and it's tough to get this stuff to look "sleek" and "bulletproof" underneath the plastic.  I've found that making something functional comes easy for me, but making it look good is a tremendous headache!

If anyone wants to try the gauges on their Brute, I do have a couple pointers that will greatly ease your pain, so be sure to hit me up on that.

Also, has anyone with an 08/09 Brute tried running external filters/no airbox yet?  The FI bikes generally respond VERY well to this type of snorkel setup, since jetting on the intake side is essentially a non-issue.  WillE's Can-Am and my AC both gained significant power from the external filters....

Lol, yeah, my idea on the gauges originated from Blackmax at ArcticChat, and I'd be willing to bet that that's where you saw it too... I prettymuch mimiced his design above the plastic and augrizzrider's design below plastic on that original design.  Think the current design is all original though!

Here are my new snorks I just finished last night.  Saw this type set up on another SRA on here and knew that it was what I wanted. Sorry for copying someone else.

Well there's no problem with blowback for me, being over six foot tall.  The snorks only come up as far as the top of the pod.  I loved the "raked" look and that's what really got me.  Thanks to ZR2_roost for the idea
