Gosh Dave, you strike me as such an outstanding person to know in personal life and I'm glad to have made your acquaintance on this forum. My heart goes out to you on this shortcoming you've stumbled upon. Neurological anomalies are so very hard to treat and the success rate depends more on the PT than anything else. This MS is so closely related to other Neurological disorders, I.e. CMT, etc, etc in that it generally attacks the longest nerve endings in your body first. The key is to get that blood pumping to prevent any atrophy. Secondly, rest, sleep and a proper diet goes hand in hand. No alcohol or smoking can be permitted.
