I would try getting a DJ kit. These come w/h a needle also to go with your new jet. IMOP you kinda shoot yourself in the foot with just a jet, no needle. The 2" snorkle will help considerably. horsepower is air in/air out. you got air out, lets try in.
As for the differences in bikes, I can lineup w/h my bro. He leaves me EVERYTIME. We bought our bikes a week apart from the same dealer. only diff is color "supposedly"! My Dynatek will not fit in his bike though. Not quite sure what the diff is YET!! But definitely looking.

if your looking for speed you may want to get another bike.before mods and stock tires mine would only run 51 to 53 than it was hitting the rev limiter.i put 27'' tires on it would hit 55 thats being clocked by car behind me.

well i,  changed jets went back to 40 pilot and 145 main, helped a little, than i put stock cdi back in and it came alive, when the tires would hookup the wheelies were big and long. still needs clutch work not working right should pull harder from 20 - 30 mph top end went to 55. checked vents both where clear, need to find snorkel kit and suggestions???  is there any that don't go up so for ,i don't usually dive in that deep anymore paid that price.. or is there a different airbox that is better out there?? what it the difference between dj needle ,what do the notches do?? ant other mod i could do??

I would make your own snorkels, the dyno jet needle is WAY better then the stock needle is way better.

if you just ran some hinden snorkels in 2" for more air that would help as well, there is a post in the helpful links at the top of the page that will show you how to do snorkels.

list off everything you have again..  i keep hearing that the dyna tech for the 650H1 does not work well for some reason..??????

Dyno Jet needle really woke mine up.

There's also a link to the free secondary clutch mod, well almost free, you will need to make a tool. $15 at the most. This mod will really increase your low end acceleration.

I had to buy the jet kit for mine, with the stock jet needle my bike had a bad stumble and the Dyno needle took it clear out and it runs great now.

only thing i have other then you is the 4.0 gears and they do help with getting the fat cat moving faster but will cut some top speed down.

Mine has that stumble just off idle.  I've tried everything but a DJ needle.  Can I buy just the needle?

nope they wont sell just the needle  they know no one would buy the whole "kit" then, i figured i pay $50 for a needle becuase i still had to buy bigger jets because they wont put big enough jets in there kits

you dont want to do the secondary mod if you have the EPI kit in there allready, it makes the rear spring alot tighter, but your after market spring allready does this.
