yea, myself, got wake? and superchunk5000 rode up to moose pond right before you all were leaving. right after yall left, got wake? rolled his outlander in moose pond......man it was deep...but he was still good to go.

some of the guys suggest buying a pre-made kit mostly to make things safer and easier and also to hopefully not void my 4 yr extended warranty.

im still debating....

Whether or not you make it yourself wont matter, the shops around here will still pretty much tell you they wont cover it. I am only about 30 mins from you and have called all the shops in the area.

As far as I have been told on the Bayou kit, everything is cut for you, you just need to assemble and glue it all together.

When you order a pre built snorkal kit you get a box of PVC. I have installed many of them. The warrenty doesn't care if you bought or built the snorkals. Kawi has already said snorkals do not void the warrenty. Feel free to call the customer service line and ask them your self. As for the snorkal man. DO what will make you happy. I don't have the money to spend on a $200 kit when I made the same thing for $55 and an extra 45 minutes of my time to measure and cut. To each their own. Maybe Jon should sell precut MIMB kits. He could make a killing just like the rest of the snorkal companies.

what does it mean on the MIMB instructions when it has the steps for the carb vent lines (page one, picture three) it says to take two lines from the white canister thingy (not sure what this is) and make them into a "T" and run one of the lines into the "pod"......what is the pod?

also have those of you with MIMB snorkels been snorkeling the gas vents or others....how have yall been doing this

I'm not sure what to tell you. You answered your own question. You replace the plastic peice with a plastic tee. The pod is the thing the instrument panal is on. You have to run all vent tubes to the pod. You simply use a plastic coupler and more hose to extend everthing up. This still has to be done with the "kits" as well.

it's to keep them high and dry. I just zip tied mine to the little frame in there.
