When I put my pipe, filter, and controller on I'm staying with the 1.5 at first and see how it does.  If I need more air then I'll switch over to 2".  Some guys say 1.5 is enough with those mods and some don't.  Guess I'll try it and post results.  Honda is replacing my Camo any day now so after that the mods are going on.

I will let you know if it runs any better or if it makes any difference. I kinda thought it wouldn't have enough air flow after all the mods,
but who knows. I guess i could have tried that ,but since i already took the 1-1/2" off and started on the 2" i might as well keep going with it.

Mine runs just fine right , I have the PCIII, the UNI filter, and my custom job on my exhaust(drilled with a 2" power tip). I am getting ready to have my bike tuned, and have a AFR added, I will see how it runs then and let you know.

lol!!!!  found it...pulled it....didnt go back in!!! how did i know it would be like that..15mins of work and it was good to go..gonna seal it up tommorow...and to the water pump it has a black tube comin out to the bottom..take that one all the way up to the pod?? do u just have to drain it manually if coolant comes out??

You're lucky Bob, when I pulled mine out it would never go back in. I just pulled it off and sealed it. Don't have to worry about that silicone plug falling out!

Yes run that vent tube up to the pod or snork. I don't think that you will see coolant in the tube unless the water pump is leaking, I'll let one of these gearheads chime in on that.

Coolant in the tube is definitely a bad thing.

Just a tip...when I ran all my vent lines into the pod...I left enough tubing on each one to make a couple loops.
That way...if you get a slight momentary dunk above the pod...they usually won't take in water. Now it won't help on an extended dunk...but will on a quickie.

I just finished snorkeling mine today.  Well i still have not run the extra hose for the vent lines.
I will probally do that when I get back in from the rig.  I can put my hand over hose and it will die in about 3 or 4 seconds (is that fast enough?). The top of the air box sucks too.

I have a Rincon 650 also.
I'm running a HMF Utility,K&N,and a Dynojet kit.
I have 2" PVC coming out of the airbox, converted over to 1.5" spa hose, then back to 2"PVC coming up through the fender...and mine runs just fine.

Do you "need" dual snorkels...I'd say NO.

You don't need duals.  Just remember, whatever your smallest pipe size is, that is all the air that is gonna get in.  The 2" to 1.5" is only 1.5".

Ditto to what David said, I have the modified exhaust, PCIII, and UNI filter, and mine runs great with the "1 1/2" snorkle.

you can use shop vac replacement hose and some silcone it slide right in the air box hole and is flexible enough to go under the tank and up the radator cover for 20 bucks

I did mine with a 1.5 SPA hose and i could tell it needed more air.  Once i switched it ran a whole lot better.
Here is what it looked like before.
