its lookin like the date is gonna be towards th end of October. NOT OPENING WEEKEND OF DEER SEASON for those of yal that hunt!! LOL!! I wish we could do it a lil earlier but we got too much stuff goin on through september and this will give us plenty of time to get everything planned to where it doesnt turn out to be one big WRECK!! I will post the Date on the forum as soon as we set it for SURE, and we are also gonna drop some flyers at all the atv shops around town.

Yes the plan is to have it October 25th!! I agree that we should keep this one at the top. We are working out all the details now, but the date is firm. If anyone would like to help or has any suggestions for putting on a successful poker run let us know. Thanks!

Come on now!!! I want at least half the people to at least have HALF a chance at finishing the run, not spendeing the hole time during the run hanging on to a winch line!!!!! LOL!!! I would rather not get quite that extreme (although it does sound like fun!!!)

if yall dont know what a poker run is you will have 5 stops at different locations through out the ride. you pick up a card and the winner with the best hand after the stops wins a prize. DONT FORGET THAT THIS RIDE IS ALSO IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER RIDES OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR TAMMY. some great businesses have come in and donated raffle stuff also. the tickets will be sold at each event and the winners will be picked DEC 15th by TAMMY. her last day of chemo.

posting of the other rides and prizes are coming. waiting on one more date and a for sure on a hope full kids four wheeler for the raffle.

Great job setting this up, i sure wish i lived closer to attend this one. You all are wonderful!

The whole reason we are having this function is to raise funds for Tammy, therefore the more participation we have, the more money we will raise. If "Joe Blow" comes out there on his bone stock Honda Rancher with stock tires wants to participate, he should be able to. There are several trails to choose from to arrive at your destination (check point). We will not have a check point that Joe Blow cannot reach however if you are snorkeled and Outlawed, you may choose the more difficult route...that is your option.

Now that is an option. If the checkpoints are too difficult for certain bikes to make it too, you will have the option to go on foot ( or fin) LOL!!! Seriously, the checkpoints will be challenging, but not to the point where it becomes a "Who has the biggest bike, or the deepest bike, competition". I want everybody to be able to make it to the checkpoints, in one piece, and back to the parking lot, in one piece. that is not to say that there will be only one way in and out of the checkpoints. If you chose to take the harder trails, thats your call, or if you PICK the wrong trail, OOPS, Im sorry. LOL!! One thing I will tell yall, Yall will have to Search for the checkpoints!!!!!! They will not be out in plain sight, no detailed maps, and I aint telling NOBODY where the checkpoints will be till the day of the run!!!! HAHAHAHA! YAll just remember, the more people we get to come out and ride, the bigger the CASH prize will be. The more people we scare off with the EXTREME checkpoints, the smaller the cash prize will be. It will be fun, challenging, a chance to win some BIG money, and for a good cause because Tammy really needs our help.

Well all this weather and rain is deffinately gonna change things for the poker run..... Cause there aint no telling what the park looks like!!!!!!! Looks like I might have to look for some different checkpoints and possibly some new trails to the checkpoints!! I cant wait to get out there and see the carnage!! Hope everybody is safe and well. Im in Kilgore with Tammy and John Eric waiting for this beast to hit us.
