Well...where do you get your bike dynoed? ANd do you know anywhere close to here that dyno's atv's?? Oh, and VERY nice pics of the mimb kit..that will help alot of people out..I could do it just off those pictures, and not read the instructions they're so good! Still got your little 840 for sale?

We got a mustang dyno at the diesel shop that has the long rollers on it. I just got the A/F sensor in and we are going to try it out. I am just looking at the A/F mixture and not the HP and TQ. Trying to get the jetting dead on...

The 840 is still here...

no, actually cut the end off that goes on the airbox, and buy a 3" to 2" bushing for the the other end, and then glue ur ptrap right into place in the bushing, fits like a glove!

is there any kind of fitting where u can run ur crankcase vent into the snorkel. I have it ran to the pod right now but i was thinking of some how trying to tie it into the snorkel tubes and maybe the carb vents to.

if you put the vent back into the snorkel it kinda defeats the purpose of taking it out of the airbox

the crankcase vent is in the airbox how would it get water in the motor???

well if the airbox isnt sealed good and water gets in there it would drain down into the motor wouldnt it? Just asking a ? no need to make fun of me. Be nice or dont reply

first of all im not making fun of anyone. and you dont want any water in your airbox it will go down in carbs and can mess up your motor that way... just make sure you have a good seal around your airbox and your good

Welll...water CAN get in your motor through the crankcase vent can't it?? Just like water can get in something thru any VENT LINE...Isn't that the reason they're at the handlebars or at your snorks??

I will try to post pics of the kit I have for the crankcase vent. It is the way to go.. Motor will not get water in it unless you are way to deep..

ok did the snorkels, ran the carb ventlines, gas tank vent, crankcase vent, and siliconed the airbox lid, dielectric grease i think every plug. Is there anything i forgot to do?

Imin the middle of building the MIMB snorkel kit for my brute need to get down to Home depot to get a fewe more fittings and i was wonderig what everyone dose with the vents that run to the handle bars and the crankcase vent that runs into the air box. I saw a few posts in here about it but not much insite on how do it.

my crankcase vent is left in the airbox. it's sealed so i didnt opt to give myself more work to do.
All the vents that run to the pod are good to go. Leave em.
Just make sure you also consider doing the radiator overflow botle vent tube.

the crankcase vent is dumping oil into my air box and it shut me down today what do i have to do in order to keep to keep it from dumping oil into my air box......

i cant seem to find the catch can mod thread can you send me in the right direcntion I realy want to get this done sso it dosnt happen again. with this catch can mod let the oil run back into my crankcase...

Thanks guys i was in a hole last night and my quad just shut off wouldnt start just after i did my snorkelt i thought it was leaking or something. I realy appreciate the help....
