yeah they are "IEquus" gauges they are mechcanicl gauges. one thing you cant see is inside the pipe i have a short peice on 1 1/2" pipe and the guage fits real nice in it (this is also how i kept the gauge from being down in the fitting to far) and then once iam done i will put a bead of black sylicone around them to seal them in.
Iam going to use a copper oil line instead of the plastic one and route it smartly so it wont be right out in the open to get caught on anything.

Status: offline 		Nice. i was going to go with that set-up but came up with a diffrent one. and if that oil gauge doesnt go over 120 it will peg out. mine goes to 100 and goes way past that.

Mine does not have anywhere near that kinda pressure, i was talking this over with a few other people and we were thinking with over 100psi it would be blowing out gaskets and stuff from that much pressure.

Kingcat500 what kind of gauge do you have elec or mech..?  mine has like 10psi at idel and like 40psi at speed no where close to yours..?????

Status: online 		I saw an oil pressure gauge on a TC motor (prowler) and it had like 10 psi at idle. Not sure on the throttle. But 100 seems like alot.

Status: offline 		mines mech. and it idles at like 25-30 and then pins out way past 100.. and its in the right place. ive seen more then one h-1 that had a oil pressure guage that did this. and it was in a diffrent location

Status: offline 		I put mine in before the oil cooler cant see that it would really matter to much.
the difference is just crazy on this, I would think mine was not right or somthing if it made a taping noise or somthing like it had low pressure but its really a quiet motor.
