Said it before and I'll say it again, " I would recommend against a can am for the mud hole" Not mud bog.

As far as people being biased towards their brand I do not think so. When I lived in San Antonio (no mud what so ever), I wished I had a king quad (don't ask me why, I just like the looks and that it was lower).

GWC in the house!!!  You're a funny guy, kinda like the hall monitor from high school...

I was not bashing in my post but stating my opinions from my experience as an ATV enthusiast.  But since you insist:  Most intelligent people are appreciative when someone gives them advice so that they don't make the same mistakes.  I forgot I was in the AC forum.

It doesn't take much to get yall worked up.  Nobody is taking the almighty AC trophy away from any of you.  You can keep it.  The forum is kinda like a safe haven for yall isn't it?

Well I'm a nice guy, I would pull any of you back to the trailer. LOL  We are all hear to do the same thing, ride and enjoy the outdoors.

The only reason I didn't buy an Arctic Cat:

I already have a full time job and I do not wish to add AC mechanic to my list of duties.

But hey, look on the bright side...the Arctic Cats do look kinda cool.

lmao! your funny!

Ha Ha Ha Ha.  Dang man you got us there.....  HOw old are you, like 10.  The fellas on the A/C forum are some of the most helpful and knowledgeable guys on here.  Not bashing???  "RIDING ANYTHING OTHER THAN CAN-AM???  GOOD LUCK WITH THAT..."    I don't remember seeing anyone on here that did not agree that Canned Hams did not dominate in mud racing, but l ike said earlier not very many of us race our bikes. As far as duribility, I have an 06' H1 that my wife now rides that has never had a belt, only one axle (my heavy thumb)  and one diff seal in 600+ miles.  It was my bike until about 8 months ago and I still thrash this bike on a regular bassis.  Can Ams are very fast and do very well in the racing, but to say that they dominate in all ways is just plain wrong.

That is the only thing I bought mine for, then modified the clutch to make it slower, installed gears to make it slower.  Racing is the the one and only reason for a quad!!

Man I didn't mean to get everyone riled up, sorry lol. Basically I want something that is dependable and can get me through mud my buddies cant or struggle with. Mud Racing and racing in generally isnt really on my list of priorities. I do like the overall look of the can-ams a little better but will sacrifice that for performance and reliability. Anyway, thanks for all the input guys.

Well, i have had the chance to drive the 700 Mud Pro and I can tell you a Canned Ham 650 aint going to be much faster, the mud pro in short distances is just as fast as a 1000 TRV which IMO is impressive for a 700 with 28" tires. Another thing to take into account is a mud pro can accomidate 30" tires stock without rubbing and with a 2" Lift it can accomidate some 31's or 32's, and to do that on a Canned Ham you will need a 7" lift so there is 3k there, then keeping up with blown belts well that can be lots... Compare this to a mud pro and roughy $500 for 2" lift and axle spacers... Do the math the AC is the most logical quad especially knowing that the price is not that much more for the equiptment it has and the BLATENT fact that the ECU is remaped for snorkles, which the Canned ham is not remaped, that alone can be a nightmare. This is my 2 cents.

LOL, this post is priceless, I don't have anything but love for you guys.

I will say this the only reason that can-am was pulled back to the trailer was because the clutches were not set up to run 32's, I know it doesn't matter but just saying. I want to come ride Crosby soon, think you guys can show me around?
