Kawaboy, buy you dad a case off beer and put from you loved wife on a sticky note and do the same thing on a thing of flowers.

Prayers sent - I don't know first hand about this sort of thing, but I do know many friends that have gone through it in the past. Some of them didn't turn out too good after their parents split. Just keep your head up, and stay out of trouble.

Things will turn out better either way, so just make sure you and your sis are there for eachother through it.

Kawaboy13 I see you are 14, I was 14 when my parents split up, Im 28 now... my parents split up was very dramatic...My dad was out of town working and I came home from school one day to find a uhaul loaded with everything in our house and I mean everything except for my stuff in my room, my mom asked if I wanted to move with her and my brother to Oklahoma (about 8hrs away from where I grew up) and I deceided to stay with my dad because I had just started high school and at the time had just started dating my now husband. I dont regret staying although me and my dad had to start over from scratch as far as new furniture and household stuff. Me and my dad never had and still dont have much of a relationship...I hated my mom for the longest time for what she did, we finally had gotten close again and I understood more of what went on with my parents relationship and forgave her.

Everyones situation is different and you never know what may be going on and dont assume one parent is not cheating or doing something you dont think they are doing, I learned about about 1 year after my parents split things about my parents that I never realized.
Good luck and stay focused on what is important in life right now... school and being a teenager. Be there for your sister my brother helped me alot through the divorce.

Hey man your not the only one

. My dad has been in the gas buisness all his life and has been a very very successfull man up intill these last few years when the economy has been so bad. Its hard for these private owners the run these high dollar gas stations. He keeped it goin good up untill these past 5 years having to pay about 15,000-25,000 a month out of his pocket just to keep the barrels full. Well he lost all his money and lost the buisness. Now my moms wanting to leave him now in the hard times becouse she is tired of living like this. Well I have been praying every morning and night every day and one day my dad comes in sayin were going to be set for life. We mite be moving to Florida. He got a job offering of being a CEO of a Gas/Diesel/restraunt/ it will be one of the largest in a America. And the guy has oil rigs across the south east of the globe and wants my dad in on that. So its a blessing. But its not official yet so Im still praying. Just remember talk to god and he will answer you weather you like the answer or not. Sry for the long post just wanted you to know im there with ya!

All I know is that it sucks, and he admitted to my grandparents that he has feelings for another woman

and my mom hasnt known for sure yet. I dont see this coming to a good end......
