Here's my set up!  I use the Boss 6.5 Marine speakers.  And I would definately seal all speakers and were your wires come out with silicon.  I have had this set up for over 2 years and it's still running strong.

If you go with the traditional setup like Ayo you will need to use the 6"PVC and 6" 90 degree elbows.  If you do a set up like mine then you use 4"PVC ....4" Elbows......then 4"-6" coupler!  Really depends on your amp size.  It's hard to find a good small amp.  If I could find a really powerful amp that would fit in the 6" tube then I would convert.  But my miniamp rocks the 6.5" Boss Marine speakers pretty good!

Are you just grounding to the 12V outlet? Or are you running another ground?

I bought the same set up ayo has with the 240 amp and polk speakers. I see some guy run a toggle switch and some just unplug the 12v from the quad what the best set up. Do i have to ground the amp if i just run it to the 12v.

If you run it to a 12volt plug then you just ground it through the plug. I think just unplugging it is best since every toggle I have seen is hard to keep working very long

It works for some people but I prefer to hardwire straight to the battery and use a toggle for a amp that size. Use about 14ga wire from the battery and get a metal flip/toggle switch. They work better than plastic switches

It will have a red and white RCA plug on one end and a stero plug on the other end. Should be able to get it at stero shack or walmart
