I know some people have had issues with there tie rods...i on the other hand have never had an issue. But it may be because of my somewhat cautious riding style.I dont get stupid with all the power in the wrong areas. And i also dont do 100mph over ditches/trees/ruts/boulders lol

I will just throw in my .02 cents. If you are gonna buy a lift taller than two inches it does not matter who makes it, the stock springs no matter how you adjust them they are not strong enough for even a four inch lift. You must either put in spring spacers or highlifter lift springs this will correct any issues you will have. And yes the suspension will be stiff, but these lifts are made to be put into deep mud situations not to corner on a trail. Also cornering on a trail with a bike that has a four inch lift or more you do not want the suspension to travel much because you will get alot of roll and you will end up on your head. now riding on muddy trails at a descent rate of speed with the spacers or the HL springs is not bad at all I do it all the time. I did it this past weekend, running at 40+ mph riding with a stock polaris and three renegades all stock heigth. And I don't know why it is this way but the wide tires do make it harder to turn the skinnier the tire the easier it is to turn its just the way it is. The thing is when the lifts are built they are fabbed with the suspension fully extended because in the mud that is exactly what you want. CATVOS make awesome lifts and if there is a defect Scott will make it right.

Boy i wish people that dont own one of our lifts would quit bashing!!! We have already told him to bring us the bike cause this is a problem we just ran into on his bike and have only seen it on 1 other. We are actually fixing this issue as we speak. Like we told him before there is a frame issue with certain built brutes. That is his problem. I can take the same lift and bolt it on a different bike and it would be straight.

Scott put the spacers in his shocks.and this lift is supposed to be the "trailable" one.And im not saying there lifts arent awesome,I think there quality of work is way up there.

I guess im gonna be labeled the "hater" but im gonna tell the truth on my friend (yeepimp)s bike.He has a brand new 08 brute that he got the 4 inch catvos.3 grand worth. The tires toe like crazy. And camber bad when turning.I have pictures of my bike right beside his and its only like a half inch shorter, and im running the highlifter 2 inch. The bike takes forever to turn around, the comment you heard about the front end pushing is an understatement. We went and rode at timberlanes this weekend and he got so pissed off about not being able to steer he said that as soon as he gets time off hes taking it back and selling the 4 inch and putting his 2 inch back on with highlifter springs.Scott at catvos said the reason why it has such a wide turning radius is because of the wide tires all the way around,I have 31x11s on my brute and it turns around on a factory turning radius.Where i would turn around on a trail, he would have to turn, back up,turn again, back up and then be able to head my way.As far as the ride,The rear of the bike has no give whatsoever,I can jump up and down on his back rack and it may move a quarter of an inch.Scott said the tires toe out and camber like they do because the front springs are soft,he said that it needed highlifter springs so it wouldnt go down....basically saying that it couldnt have any travel in the suspension at all to keep it from toeing or cambering, its like he set the lift up to have no travel or give in it.Maybe he was the only one that got a "faulty lift".Anyways you can buy his from him if you want the 4 inch,he would be happy to sell it to you im sure.

He never heard of a "Frame issue" but im sure he will be glad to have it where the wheels wont camber and toe any like it should an it accually have a ride. When you get it "right" is it going to turn around like my bike with wide tires or is it still going to have a really wide turning radius.I might not own the lift but i have drove it a decent amount and know what it feels/looks/handles like.Im not bashing either, just saying what i saw and experienced, simply an opinion, for what its worth. And its not that easy to just up and bring something when catvos is 3 hours away.but anyways im done with this.sad that you cant say what you see.

ALMOST30S I'm the guy you were talkin to that night at the camp..Brooks is the guy with that huge green brute..Anyways, I noticed and the same thing and wondered the same thing..Thats a lot of money to pay and not be right when it leave and only be taller than a 2" lifted brute by 1/2" ???

Haha cool man nice meetin you, yeah that brute was huge for sure,i cant believe he took off on it with the axle practically hanging off the back right lol,i guess thats what you do when you are that intoxicated lol.did you watch me do that little "pass" on that gravel road?haha

Yea he's retarted..Nothing worse happened the rest of the night..suprisingly. And it was nice meetin yall too, EXTREMELY NICE BRUTES you and Yeepimp have..Man like for real, youres is about the nicest and cleanest running Brute I've seen in the years I've been in this stuff..And DID I SEE YOU?? UH...YES!!! That was freakin awesome!! I don't see how you hang on when your on the bottle.. That bike will and probably has put LOTS of Canned Hams to shame huh? Haha you just better be careful tho, lookin at you form behind your just driftin the straightaways sideways..haha HORSEPOWER!! And say a prayer for your axles every night you go to sleep, I heard you say you were on your stockers!!

Like we told him before there is a frame issue with certain built brutes. That is his problem. I can take the same lift and bolt it on a different bike and it would be straight.

Thanks for the compliment on my brute man,i try to take really good care of it and detail it after ever ride no matter if its just around the neighborhood on the streets lol.And as far as hanging on. . .its almost like im superman. . haha and yeah i missed that tree in the road by like a foot, its bad when your drifting sideways going straight and didnt hit it till i was goin about 20,I should have had it in 4wd but i didnt think it would have been that big of a deal with the 31s on there, boy was i wrong lol, and yeah my axles hate me but so far they have put up with it lol
