Kinda sucks that it turned out to be a hoax. I figured that a lot of the news company's would make them pay a fine for giving false info.

Im not clear on all the hunting rules, but it was on his land. Therefore, wouldnt that make it ok for him to do that?

if he was headlighting deer it doesnt matter if its private land or not its illegal. i dont know the rules on hog hunting at night but i dont think yo ucan do that either

Yes in texas you are aloud to hunt at night with spot lights for non game animals...Hogs/coyotes/bob cats/racoons/etc.....We hunt at night all the time for hogs and predators. But you are right about spotlighting deer that is highly illegal and they don't play lol.
