Status: offline 		how about a quick wiring lesson on these... looking at the site seems like you would need some sort of controler to get diff flash patterns? or you just run +12v and be done? Could realy use these as I use my atv for fire fighting also. thanks.

Status: online 		From what I can tell...you power the lights with a switched 12v power source...and hook a 12v power source(can be the same source) through a momentary switch to the yellow wire to change the patterns.
Sounds pretty simple to me.

Status: offline 		WHEN U BUY THESE THINGS IT TELLS U STEP BY STEP HOW TO HOOK ALL THE LIGHTS TOGATHER AND THERE IS A YELLOW WIRE THAT U TOUCH TO THE BATTERY THAT SWITCHES THE PATTERNS U CAN BUY A SWITCH TO MOUNT TO BE ABLE TO SWTICH EM WITHOUT HAVIN TO TOUCH THE YELLOW TO THE BATTERY EVERY TIME U WANNA SWITCH EM. I LEAVE ME SET AT ONE PATTERN BUT I DO HAVE TO YELLOW WIRE BY MY BATTERY SO WHEN  I WANNA CHANGE EM I CAN

Status: offline 		ok so if I understand correctly you wire to +12v switch (to turn on/off) and IF you wanna switch patterns you touch the yellow wire to +12v for specified time then remove and pattern will change?  Sounds like I will be getting these soon then. some for the atv and truck.... Oh yeah what are the dimensions of these?

Status: online 		right...but instead of just touching the yellow wire to the battery...I'd put a momentary switch(push button) to use to change the patterns.


The 4 light versions that Ruzy has are... 3.5" W x 1.0" H x 1.0" D
