Thanks, she is the sweetest thing, I got her when I found out her original owner was gonna put her down because it was said that she was to hyper. All she needed was some attention now she is the biggest couch potatoe.

I always liked boxers and thought they were beautiful dogs. But I'm starting to have a bit of a problem with them now. Needless to say my son is not going back in their yard while the boxer is there, he is on a tie out but he has already broken about three of them and my fence just isn't enough peace of mind for me.

Its always been my opinion to not trust any dog that is tied, I also think it is cruel. I would make an anonymous call to animal control. If you have other neighbors around, he will not know who called. They probably want take the dog away, but they may educate him on what happens if the dog hurts someone.

I don't have one as of yet but I'm going to just as soon as this ankle heals up enough to start cycling again as a result of the aforementioned. Our paths will no doubt cross again. Revenge is a dish that's best served cold.

I agree I hate to see a dog tied, and even worse I hate to see a person get a dog and not have any interaction with it other than feed it which is the case here.

Thats just they personality, you cant punish the dog or the owner for the dog wanting to play. Its pretty simple actually keep your kid away from the dog until he is old enough to be around it.

A buddy of mine has a white boxer with a brown patch over his eye. I'll see if I can get a picture of him. His name is Chance.

Sorry to bring back such an old thread, but the boxer i posted just passed away. He had a tumor on his heart causing issues with blood flow and eratic heart beats. He was almost 10 years old, anyway we are looking for another one. So does anyone know any good breeders. My parents are willing to travel, they have already talked about going to Michigan to get one but that didnt work out. As you can see from my profile were from Louisiana so traveling is an option. The dog must be AKC registered, must come from a good line, must be a fawn and a male. We refuse to nuter it, so if they have a contract that says there dog must be nutered then dont bother. Its not that we want to breed the dog or anything, we just have seen the way it changes their personalitys and dont like that. The dog will be an inside dog only going outside to use the restroom and for excersice/play. Whenever the dog is outside it will never leave our sight, so accidental babies wont be a problem either. Money isnt really an option either we are willing to spend up to 1500. So if anyone knows a good breeder it would be appreciated. thanks! Oh yea and it must be a puppy too would prefer something no older than 2 months.
