I think i'm going to go insane the next time someone recommends a maroon primary spring for belt grip... Explain to me why a higher stall primary spring HELPS belt grip.

Belt doesn't spin at idle... This same belt is attached to 31" tires caked in gumbo mud... You have a clutch that will try and grab that said belt what do you think will cause less slip? One spinning at 3000 RPMs or one spinning at 1200rpms? To put that in better terms... that belt has to catch up to 3000 rpms or 1200rpms... I mean really??

Thatta boy shane, take them fewls to school!lol.you gonna be at tlanes?

Don't really want to but it seems everyone else is going to be there so probably... :P

Stilllllllll not snorkeled. :(

LOL what else do you have to do?An whats not snorkeled?who need snorkels?lol

Heh, you should come ride with me again... i wasn't on my bike at merango and it was hot and miserable anyway! lol

Stock air intake is crappy regardless any splash of water and its in the intake and if its not that steam is choking the motor out.

I went back to all the stock clutch springs and stock belt and it has since lasted twice as long as any other combination I have tried.  Still will smoke it after enough abuse in the mud pit, but it's better than with any of the mods.  Go figure.
