In the first quote, I hope you meant something like play that card or use that as their excuse. I wouldn't expect any team to quit playing hard because they don't have a chance at the national championship. I dont necessarily think UGA should have went to the national championship, but I think it would have been a much better opponent than OSU. Thats all hypothetical talk, so we can end it at LSU beat OSU and UGA didn't make it to the game.

It doesn't matter when you lost the game or whose playing when you lose. The rankings are by teams not starters or key players. To me the key to becoming champion is playing through adversity. If you can win great, but if you can still win with a couple of players hurt, then you certainly deserve respect from everyone.

Yeah, Im a UGA fan, but I dont hate any other teams. I could point out and accept flaws in my own team just as fast as any other. I just cant stand overly confident fans who think their teams are the greatest thing ever. That statement has nothing to do with the post I quoted either, since clearly he can see that LSU wont dominate the century and lead them to world domination. I haven't looked much at schedules, but I do know that if UGA somehow pulls a SEC championship out, Ill be surprised. They play 4 gamesaway from home in a row with AU, LSU, FL, and Kentucky. If they pull through that, I dont see why they cant win the national championship, but personally I dont think that will happen. As long as OSU loses again in the national championship I dont really care who beats them.

I agree ...I am a LSU fan, but Georgia got screwed last year....I should have been LSU and Georgia in the big game...they were the two best at the end..

yup i don't hate any other teams except auburn and thats because tommy-t is an ****,if lsu isn't the best team and florida or georgia goes to the title game i will be cheering for them like crazy.I'm and LSU fan first then and SEC fan.no other teams matter to me to much except the ones in the SEC because it is the greatest show on earth watching all this talent play eac other week end and week out.I think college football in the south is the greatest thing in the world and im ready to go tailgatin.Also F.Y.I. if anyone would like to see the most beautiful women you have ever seen in one spot,i suggest you come tailgatin OCT.25th for the Georgia game.I'm really looking forward to that.

yep yep. definately nothin like tailgatin at tiger stadium. not sure if i will get to make any games this year, do to gettin a job on a boat offshore. i will definately miss it

I'm a true LSU fan but i do like other SEC teams when against other conference teams were just beastly in the south. Big Bikes, Bad*** Teams, Beautiful Fourwheeling Women. Just one thing though for everybody that looks at this post is ask every single person you know to listen to the LSU fight song and ask them what it is and 90% of the time THEY'LL KNOW WHO IT IS GEAUX TIGERSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Think about this: Georgia and LSU did not play last year....When Oklahoma lost to LSU in the '03 BCS National Championship Game, they did not win the BIG 12 due to a loss to Kansas State in the BIG 12 Championship game.

even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. where's the pic of kentucky in the n.c. game. but i guess that game was as close as the wildcats get to a championship, so, props to you, i'll still take the final outcome. that was one memorable season.

Yeah I agree, I wasn't trying to say that UGA should've played in the BCSNCG, just stating that it has happened before with a team who did not win their conference championship did play in the BCSNCG. I am 99.9 % sure that the NCAA has added a rule that you cant play for the BCSNC if you did not win your respective conference...Unless you're Notre Dame and all rules do not apply.................

UGA is gonna be tough, but that schedule is just brutal. I'm thinkin Florida wins the East.

i think you're right about the ncaa rule and about florida. lsu has kept exposure of thier qb's to a minimum, so until we see em play, not sure where we stand, although the rest of the team looks good. and lsu's banned qb perriloux got his **** handedto him last nite.

I am a huge DAWGS fan but I think we all agree that getting through an SEC schedule without a lose is almost impossible. UGA has a tough road ahead of them. LSU deserved everything they got last year. We didnt win the games that we should and we didnt get to play for a N.C. I wish we had got to play USC in the Rose Bowl. I get sick and tired of hearing how great they are. Let them play in the SEC for one year and see how good they really are.
