Dont know many of his songs, but I know one that you Yamaha fellas would like.

"Stuntin Like My Daddy" - Lil Wayne feat. Birdman. The thing Lil Wayne chants before sayin "weezy da boss" is "zoom on the Yamaha, chromed out 11 hundred."

IF anybody really wants to beat ridin through town go download some old DJ Magic Mike.  He's got a song called "make the car go boom". Its not loud bass. Its reallllll low bass but it will rattle windows.

JDarby that sounds like a nice ride. Im always the renegade at the speaker comps. Most people come in there with slammed s-10s and old square body exploreres sittin a few inches off the ground.  I rolled up to the last one with my truck and got everybodys attention. F-150 sittin on a 6" procomp lift with 35" boggers and a whip antenna and a team realtree sticker on the backglass. Haha. Man I love makin people mad. They didnt think I was for real until I opened the backdoors.

Im runnin an alpine D105 headunit with four Arc-Audio 18"s turned upside down so they are downfiring. I got RE door speakers (6x9). I run all Hi-fonics amps. I have two Brutus 2608's pushin my 18's and one brutus 608 pushin my door speakers. I got two Kicker Comp VT 10"s under my backseat run by a crunch 1100.

Agreed!

Rap is dead. This new *hip-hop* is garbage, the lyrics are soo stupid it's hilarious.

I'm all about rock, but will listen to some old school rap like Tupac, Nas, Dre, etc.. You know, the people who wrote songs about life, not some jibberish with a few catchy words that will get every teenage girl excited.

I agree kind of... that a lot of raps songs are pointless and volgure ( however you spell it )  but its the same with rock pretty much, dont get me wrong i like rock and classic rock but most songs these days are either about drugs, alcohol, and girls and most of the time they use bad names to describe these girls  which is pretty messed up but i think the reason most people like rap is because of the beats and if you have a system its amazing how some of these songs sound and if you do have a system most of the time you cant even here what there saying anyway  but if you actually listen to some of the newer rap songs they do have some good ryhmes in them  Also Tan327 you said the newer rappers dont rap about there life eminem (even though he doesnt rap anymore ) and 50 cent have some goods songs about there lives and both have good movies about there lives...
Thats just my 2 pennies

03_Vinson I think my system does pretty good. Like you said above on most systems you cant really even hear the words. On mine you definetly dont unless I have to amp turned off that runs my door speakers. I am a country boy through and through but I jsut use some rap songs to beat ahrd and rattle windows. I still have my whole ipod and truck cd cases full of old hank and Alabama. BTW Fiddle in the by alabama beats pretty good on my system. Never noticed that until today

Alright if you don't happen to like lil wayne, but you somewhat like rap.  Try listening to lil wyte.  White rapper from memphis hooked up with 3-6.  His songs have the 3-6 beat from dj paul and i would say 9 out of 10 of them are like him telling a story or about his life.  I like everything that he has put out.  Some of them i had to look up the lyrics and actually listen to the song and see what he was actually getting at.  Man he has some crazy stuff.  All his albums are golden in my book!
