shaggygrizz -> Help 4wd problem... (7/25/2008 1:12:12 PM) 06 grizz 660. After locking 4wd and/or Diff lock it doesn't unlock. This happens everytime its locked in now. It first started only with the diff lock, and 4wd would unlock. Now it stays in all the time. I have to take the 4wd motor out to unlock. I checked the motor while it was out and it seems to be working fine. While its still on the bike , I can hear it working but it doesnt unlock it. Any suggestions on what could be causing this. Thanks.

(7/25/2008 4:00:22 PM)  Its done this a few times no matter how long i run it  or back up it want come out 4wd.Ive had to take the motor out for it to unlock.With the 4wd motor out I can push the 4wd or Diff lock button and motor seems to be workin fine. When i put the motor back it will lock in 4wd or difflock but not come out.

(7/25/2008 5:00:37 PM) Check the pin that the locker gear slides on.  If it has any burrs on it replace it.  Have you tried to turn the handlebars back and forth a few times while inching forward to make it unlock?  Just an idea.  Make sure the teeth on the motor aren't too worn in one direction either.
