I LOVE EM. I've got a set of 295/70R17s (33x12.50s) on 17x9 Moto Metal wheels on an 06 2500 Cummins. I have 30000 miles on them and they are holding up well. I expect a least 60000 out of them. I keep them rotated properly, so that helps. They are not loud at all. they do have a slight hum, but it's barely noticeable. I have never had them in any real mud, but what little slick stuff I have had them in, they did good for an all terrain. I plan on getting another set next time. I had never had them until this truck, and I am very pleased with them.

I love them to i am on my second set, great tire, also recommended to my brother and my good friend they all love them. Wear good i got 50k out of my first set.

^^^ That reminds me, I recommended them to my Brother, Mom, and a friend. They all like them. My Bro has 295/70R17s on a Nissan Titan w/ a 2" lift, Mom has 285/70R16s on an 08 Duramax w/ a leveling kit, and my friend has 295/70R16s on a 06 Duramax Dually w/ a leveling kit and rear spacers.

truck disscussions is where this should be but i had 33x13.5 and they were horrible did not pull worth a crap and have no good looking sidewall my pro comp extreme all terrains are more aggressive looking same ride as terras and pull 10x's better in any situation o and forgot to say they were cheaper

OldSchool -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 8:45:24 AM)

Had them on my old Cummins, they lasted for about 30k - rode good and did alright in the sand and mud.  I would go with a BFG all terrain over the Nittos any day.  I bought mine strictly due to price.  If you go with the 305's you can get them Load Range E instead of the D which the 295's are.

BruteWise -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 9:20:49 AM)

i hated mine.  but i think it had to do with being on a heavy ars F250.  i had whatever size it is that equates to 35's on 18's.  they wore horribly for me and a good friend of mine had them on his F150 and they wore horribly for him.  i am on my second set of nitto mud grapplers and love them.  when taken care of they last but are VERY loud even brand new.  the terra's just are too soft a tire in my opinion.  but then again that is JMO!  [;)]

sTa -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 9:50:47 AM)

I have f150 4 door and like i said i am on the second set and love them, first set 50k and still alot of tread left, i guess its how you take care of your tires.

I am running 295/85/17 or 33x12

rebelhunter1 -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 12:33:39 PM)

i have a set of 31"s on a toyota forerunner and i love them. they suprised me in the mud

Pizzim -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 1:37:31 PM)

ive probally sold over 100 sets of them and never had any real complaints when the tire will chosen for the correct application. Alot of time people use the 8ply when they should be using the 10 and it wears quicker. Its a great tire for sand but not the mud. if you want a tire that will last you forever (depending on the size) look at the nitto DuraGrapler it still does good in the dirt/sand but will last forever (80k in certian sizes/application)

outlawbro -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 1:56:24 PM)

its a so so tire i have a 05 3500 cummins with the 37x13.50x18 not good in any mud not good in sand either.. ride nice on road thats it... ive had them on their for about 30k miles and will not get them again to soft of rubber

badbehavior -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 4:04:36 PM)

People have said it's not good in mud..........It's not a mud tire!! [;)]

outlawbro -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/25/2008 9:18:59 PM)

its supposed to be a all terrian tire it does not go anywhere good beside asphalt

TOOLOUD -> RE: nitto terra grapler? (7/27/2008 11:43:46 AM)

I love mine, my 1st set i got 47,000 miles out of them, and my newest set i have 53,000 on them and still have good tread left. I have the 305/55/20's load rating  " E n my 05 F350 SRW which weighs 11,200 lbs....so they will last if rotated correctly on a HEAVY TRUCK,also i am always dragging a 27,000 lbs fifth wheel
