I have been anxiously waiting for the new Sportsman and the power steering. Now that I see it I'm not sure its what I want. The 2008 sportsman may work just as well.
My question is do you think the power steering will make a big difference with tracks? Right now I have them on a magnum and its a bear to steer. I have never tried tracks on a different machine and wonder if my magnum steers harder then say a 2008 sportsman. I am sure the geometry has changed but how much.
As far as the 2009, I wonder about the new low gear ratio, may not work for me. The new clutch location appears to be a maintenance nightmare. And the radiator being up higher has dropped the winch, I really dont like this. A plow on this machine will present the same obstacle as the can am. Keep the winches up where you access them when knee deep in mud.
So do I get the 2009 or 2008??
