Theres one here too. Sticker is high 40s I think, they want like $58k??  Some dealerships are putting prices of $60k +.  The dealer here has a sign on that says, "DO NOT TOUCH, DO NOT ASK TO TEST DRIVE".

That is the same way the dealer's were about the new Mustang when it can out here. Sticker was $28k and the were asking $35k. They kept saying "it is the only one in Baton Rouge, you will be the first to have one." I told he salesman "No I want cause I am not paying $7k over sticker for a car to be the first in BR to have one." The dealers get stupid with that crap.

So they expect someone to buy it without even test driving it first??

When the '05 Mustang came out you had to put down a deposit or do the paperwork to make sure you could get financed, before they would let you test drive. They wanted to make sure you were serious and not just wanting a joy ride.

The dealer here in Brookhaven has one. They are asking $10k over sticker claiming it is a "special edition". A friend of mines dad bought the first PT Cruiser when it came out. The dealership here did the same thing asking $5k over sticker. He told em where to stick it, drove 30 miles south, and got it for $5k under sticker. Some dealerships are out to make a dollar that way cause they know some sucker will pay it to be the first to have one.

The dealership in town had two of them and the same guy bought both and paid 13k over sticker a piece. I don't know who it was but I think I need to find him, if he just likes giving money away like that I could use some.

my dad is a gm at a dodge dealership in gulfport they have one its the srt bad a one and he isnt even allowed to drive it lol. the only way you may drive it is if your financing has went through and your check is basically in there hands. the reason being is because if not every one would come in acting like a high roller ann ask to drive it. they do this to cover there buts or else they could get in trouble for discrimintaion if someone came in wanting to drive it and they said no because they didnt look like they could afford to drive it. think about it...... if dealers did not do this i personally would be going to a lambo dealer at the moment to go for a test drive.

I heard that through the end of 2008...only 3 colors are available...orange,black,or silver.

I'll be looking at the R/T next April when my truck is paid off...but I want a solid white one like the '70 R/T in Vanishing Point.
