just wondering how a clutch kit would benefit a manual shifting quad?  From what i gather, a clutch kit lets your bike rev a little higher before shifting, is that right?  if so i can see how that would benefit an automatic but how does that help a manual shifter? or do i have it all wrong?

Just put one in my 07 500m. What is does is raises the rpm before engaugenent. It is like a higher stall converter in a auto. What it does is let you get it reved up a little more before the power is transfered to the wheels. This way you are in your powerband(hopefully). I love mine, but feel the price of the kit is very high for the parts recieved. At least it comes with directions!!

oh i see, so when you are at an idle and you go into first it takes extra rpm before the tires move?  that makes sense. thanks
