Another possibility is water getting to the spark plug.
A good coat of dielectric grease in there should stop that.

We went ride some canals today,it was steam. Thanks for helping,I took some unneeded plastic off,and now it runs better in the water.
I got to order a new black plastic peice for my gas tank,as soon as I do that,I will cut a hole in the old one and run it out right behind my gas cap.

thanks again

Ok I dont get the post above this one.

Anyway, whats the stuff called that you put in the spark plug boot to help keep the ATV from dieing? Ive been wantin to put some in my spark plug boot before I bog race my 420 again, but havent been able to remmember the name of the stuff. And where can you get it? Also, about how much should I put in the spark plug boot?

The stuff is called dielectric grease. You cany get it at pep boys ir auto zone. PLaces like that. They usually have little packets of it near the checkout. One packet for the boot should be good enough. You may also want to buy extra to put on all your electrical connections.

Just wait a few years when your bike will have electrical troubles for the time it takes just slap some dielectrical in every connection you can find. JMO

x2 $2.00 of dielectric grease will save you some $$$$ when you have to replace your wiring harness cause something got fried.

Right...all the vent lines need to be extended at least up to the pod.
there are lines from the rear and front diff,a couple from the carb, and one from the fan.
I think that's it on the Foreman...someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Also...there is a drain tube on the carb that needs to be plugged with a golf tee.Check this one for gas that needs to be drained out after each time you go riding.Don't extend it up to the pod...it needs to be able to drain...it's not a vent.

you still have a fan though correct?

Doesn't the Foreman have an electric fan for the oil cooler?

Rubicon is liquid cooled.
But...the air cooled Foreman still has a fan motor cooling the oil cooler...and I believe that this fan has a vent line.

The "regular" foreman is air cooled but with a fan assisted oil cooler. And the rubi's are liquid cooled w/fan. And yes they do have vent lines it is a clear plastic tube you can see it on the fan motor.
