Status: offline 		Dixie Devil...Plans on what kinda washin' off you need to do.  In the 50 acre flooded duck pond (bout 6 -8 inches) deep he will have a "swimming hole" with a dock on it.  It looks like it will be about 6' deep or so.  I think he said he was gonna try to have something there to wash folks off but don't hold me to that.

BTW, If you go to Out on the Trail and look at the post '3 Aug Ride' there are a few pics.   NOTHING was flooded at the time.  With water, should be good.

Status: offline 		Hey ya'll this is Ted from Roosters Mudjam. We will be updating this forum regularly, as well as our website, and myspace page. The Weekend event will take place Sept 12-14.

This event will begin on Friday, September the 12th at 4:00 p.m. and will end on Sunday, September the 14th.  Mud Jam will feature a weekend full of riding in our 1600 acres of high fenced wilderness, where you will see the largest Whitetail Deer in Louisiana and Massive Bull Elk. We have over 70 miles of trails with manicured roads, and THE LARGEST MUD POND IN LOUISIANA with 50 acres of mud and water.  You will be able to set up tents, or you may bring your own RV (If you need full hook ups there is an RV park within minutes of Roosters).
Other things you should know about this fun-filled weekend:
 $30 per ATV (in advance)  $40 (at the gate) and $5 per person (which includes riding, camping, live music Friday and Saturday nights)
 You may bring your own alcohol, or you may also buy it from our discounted package store on the camp grounds.
 There will be a live band each evening.
 Throughout the ride we will have vendors set up with beverages and refreshments.
 There will be an ATV mechanic shop on site and a free high pressure rinse station.
 Rooster's also has it's own private beach (where the camping is).
 There are also other activities around the area such as: The Largest drive thru Zoo in Louisiana, a PGA golf course, and a three thousand acre lake all within a few short minutes of this awesome event.

Status: offline 		count us out, just got a pm from the guys putting on this ride,  would cost the wife and i $110.00 to ride the w/e with nights included.  as you all know, thats way above any other organized event, even mud nats was only 80 for thurs---sun.  the kicker here is that they're charging an extra $20 per bike to ride at night. RIDICULOUS.

Status: offline 		Whoa, from what i read the $30 pre register or $40 at the gate covered riding from friday afternoon through saturday night.....if i spend that much going over there and they try to keep charging me money for things like riding after dark i'm going to burn something down......

I dont know how many have been to our place (Holdmybeer & Black Redneck have), but we have 1,200 acres under High Fence with Monster Whitetails and The largest Elk in LA (no you cant shoot them) awesome holes and a 50 Acre mud pond...60 miles of trail...the list goes on and on...plus you get camping, 16 hours of Live Music, Shower facility, Food Vendors, On Site Package Store & The Largest Country Bar in The State of Louisiana...all on site.

We appreciate everyone's input, and since this is our first (of many) organized events...there is a learning curve.

For all pre-paid bikes, Night Riding will be included free.  Tickets are available on our website www.roosterscountrybar.com or at the bar.

this is good guys, BUT for us that have undetermined work schedules it still sux!  ONE if we purchase tickets early, and have to work we're out the money, TWO is we wait to get in at the gate, it's a $100 bill (on the low side) for us and our wives.........

Status: offline 		I just bought tickets today!  Two tickets for bikes and two for people.  Ended up as $81.84.  Not too bad for a whole weekend, though thats not counting the campsite costs that I reserved too at Poverty Point Reservoir.
